Hello Mobile Learning!
Well, we have just finished our first week with the tablets! This week has been all about studying and taking some of our free time to get to know better our new 8.9 Galaxy Tabs!
Since my first impression, I thought this could be a great device to round up our e-learning process especially for its great portability, size, ease of use and of course the internet access and now, I have realized that with all this features at hand, there are actually no excuses for not being completely digital students!
In this first week I have experience samples of the great potential this device can offer. Apps like Calendar, Google Talk, Pulse, Gmail, eBook have been some of the application I have had the chance to try and I am really impressed for all the things you can do and simplicity of their usage.
A great feature that I am really appreciating it’s the possibility to write or chat using only your thumbs, just like on a mobile phone! Its size is being really helpful to handle and operate. I think it has been a great decision by EOI.
I think most of us have experienced the great transition the educational process has followed in a very short period of time, and thankfully, every day we see even greater tools to help us have a much richer learning experience. I truly believe that EOI is taking a very important step forward in this education process with the mobile learning program. Sharing, collaborating and communicating through different environments its bringing a new concept of learning which demands pro-activeness and participation, great tools for our professional careers.
