On my way to the future
After the first presentation of EOI held last Friday the most common expression I noticed looking at my future fellows was a smile. So did I. The excitement and illusion to start this new adventure and chapter in our life was almost palpable in the air.
Few days later I come to admit that my initial expectations were satisfactorily met! Of course few days are not enough to perceive how it will be at the end, but they are more than sufficient to feel the great atmosphere which surrounds us! I am so glad to share this new experience with such lovely group of people, this perfect mix of different background, culture, experiences, interests, languages, and so on!!!
Within such a variety, few very important common features are emerging: the strong motivation to co-operate and co-learning; the determination to embrace a new path in order to foster our creativity and knowledge; the hope to be able one day to change in some way the reality of our day-to-day life and influence the others; the dream to contribute to create a more sustainable, fair and healthy World.
EOI seems to serve as a very interesting platform helping us reach our common objectives, enabling us to access properly a challenging work environment: promoting the correction of societal design, addressing mechanisms which are leading our society and planet toward degradation (not to say worse) is maybe the biggest challenge humans have ever faced.
Yet, while the reality looks upsetting, we all have the weapons to face it: vision, enthusiasm, and trust!
