A whole new world
…that is what we really need. Ok, we can not just change our world today or buy a new one tomorrow. We have to put in more effort. However, as I see our IMSD class with its enthusiasm, commitment and excitement we are on a good track.
Being with my classmates, studying and having good time with them makes me feel similar to that when I am in a presentation of Dr. Jane Goodall (anthropologist and primatologist), one of the personalities who give me inspiration. She says: “What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” I like this sentence as it makes you stop for a moment, think of your actions, behavior, decisions and their impacts. The earlier the better. The Jane Goodall Institute – where I am also a volunteer – educates children and young people all over the world to be aware of the environmental and humanitarian problems our world faces and think about the possible solutions, even if it is a little or simple thing. Please, take some moments to watch this inspiring video:
We have to be open to new ideas, to widen our knowledge about the challenges and to put in all of our energy, experience and willing to change things. It seems, this is what we start or continue to do at EOI: keep learning and experiencing – from the teachers but also from each other.
Aren’t we all dreaming about a whole new world? We heard at the inauguration event that we all should have a dream. So let’s realize this dream, let’s make a difference with IMSD 2011/2012.

PS: I received a self-made dream catcher from my Guatemalan work mate for my farewell last year, so I am sure that my bad dreams will be caught and my good dreams will pass through, so they can be accomplished. Thanks to EOI and IMSD to help me and others realizing dreams.
