Marketing with feeling
The other day, I was watching old and today’s television commercials on youtube and I could see there are many differences between them. Many years ago, the commercials tried to advertise as much information as possible about the product and nowadays there are successful ads without showing the product at any time.
But can a product be promoted without anything being said about it?. Well, I think it’s possible. The advertisements can make us laugh, cry, may have a catchy tune or just striking images. The important thing is they don’t go unnoticed by those who are watching. Feelings and emotions are a very important thing we have in our making decision.
It is true that the amount of advertising is higher today than years ago and therefore also becomes necessary the differentiation in advertising over the competition.
The companies of tourism sector, such as tourism destinations, airlines and hotels have also understood that the best way to attract a customer is making you feel an experience without having lived it yet.
That is, make the customer want to enjoy the experience. I could put many examples of the sector but I wanted to share with you this video. My next summer holidays.
