As the Academic Director of the 1st European Congress on CSR Communication, let me introduce this compilation by highlighting what I consider to be the main conclusion of two exciting, emotional and fruitful days in Madrid: CSR communication matters in Europe as a central element of an integral CSR policy in any responsible business, public or third sector organization. The congress took place in Spain’s prestigious Spanish Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) and gathered experts and directors of communication from private companies, NGOs, and governmental organizations from all around Europe: (Estonia, Finland, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Poland, Spain, the United Kingdom…) all working together for a sustainable and responsible Europe through CSR communication practices.
