Trina solar is a multinational company which was created in 1997, but developed up since the period of 2002-2012 with the elected Government of»Jiang Lemin» which has based the proposals of the plan(a 5 years government) energy to reducing coal consumption and bet on solar energy. Coming in 200 to export more than 400 MW worldwide.
Nowadays Trina Solar is the third largest solar module company in China and the fourth largest solar panel company worldwide and Trina Solar is also the third largest silicon solar module company in the worldwide. The rapid development of the world economy and aggressive use of fossil fuels are increasing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, accelerating climate change and threatening the natural ecological balance. This energy crisis also affects our communities. As fuel prices rise, our modern lifestyles become increasingly expensive, and global inequality worsens. Families and businesses in china are facing higher energy bills. On China Trina is focused in find sustainable energy solutions.
In the personal opinion, the visit was good, a brief introduction of the culture and activities of the company, guided to the manufacturing plant silicon’s panels and lunch at the canteen of the company with other 1000 shop-workers, as there was a strange halo of mysticism and a negations to all questions in all visits with the excuse that they were not experts in the subject nor they did not know the answers. I was interested in the Chinese power(Electric) system and its structure, but I was unable to obtain a response from any of the guides from the visit, thanks to Antonio(Linke’s Guide),I could understand that it was a closed system from producer to customer driver entirely by the government, where companies are chosen and paid by the government.
For me, it was a incredible opportunity to meet the culture inside a big manufacture company, and in this vision it was an amazing visit, but for the learning inside of the study trip I believe that was not good enough, for the reason that china is still a close country and a close mentality whit foreign people.
